GENEVA, April 14th, 2023 - Team BDS is partnering with Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) to support medical assistance to populations facing crises that threaten their survival (primarily in the case of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, or exclusion from healthcare).
Since 2019, Team BDS has continuously excelled and established itself in only three years as a major European player in the esports scene. Today, with their Rocket League world champions title, Team BDS seeks to have a global impact on the esports scene through its performances and ambition, while working towards sustainable, ethical, and eco-responsible development of its activities.
For this reason, the players of Team BDS will now wear MSF-branded jerseys in support of the international and independent humanitarian medical organization, and will donate a percentage of each jersey sold to MSF.
The other objective of the partnership will be to mobilize donations and participate in the funding of MSF's actions, which provide daily emergency aid to populations without access to healthcare, affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, or natural disasters. Team BDS will organize a solidarity stream during the season and host the "MSF talk", a program on their Twitch channel to highlight the organization's activities.
It should be noted that other actions will be implemented throughout the season. Team BDS will help promote MSF's actions and news, and will integrate a solidarity rounding solution on its online store to benefit causes supported by Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders.
