Among the upcoming changes: the appointment of Alexandre Lopez as CEO, a complete rebranding set to launch in the coming months, the creation of a socially driven entity focused on youth and hospitalized children, and the inauguration of a new headquarters and gaming house in the heart of Geneva by the end of the year.

1/ A New CEO to Embody a Renewed Vision
With the appointment of Alexandre Lopez as Chief Executive Officer, Team BDS is reinforcing its ambition for growth and professionalization. A key figure at the club since 2020 and the architect of its competitive success, Alexandre Lopez will continue to bring strategic vision and valuable operational expertise to support the organization’s transformation.

“This appointment is a unique opportunity. The organization has established itself as a central force in European esports, and I’m honored to help write the next chapter of this journey, with passion and purpose, both in sport and in society,” says Alexandre Lopez.

2/ A Complete Transformation Through Rebranding
Team BDS is currently working on a large-scale rebranding, set to be revealed in the coming months. This project reflects the club’s desire to reinvent itself and adopt a brand identity that better aligns with its current spirit and future ambitions.

“We want to build a brand that reflects who we are: bold, ambitious, and deeply human. This rebranding will showcase our evolution, our energy, and our desire to unite people beyond the competitive scene,” explains Alexandre Lopez.

At the same time, Team BDS is planning to move into a new headquarters in the heart of Geneva by the end of 2025. This new space will host a state-of-the-art gaming house, a hybrid workspace for technical, competitive, and creative teams, and will further strengthen the organization’s local roots.

3/ A New Entity Dedicated to Inclusion Through Gaming
Team BDS also announces the upcoming launch of a nonprofit initiative aimed at promoting video games and esports among young audiences, particularly in hospitals and underprivileged communities. This project is part of a broader CSR strategy that is both ambitious and foundational for the club.

“Gaming has a unique power to bring people together, to inspire dreams, to educate, and to create bonds. We want to harness that power to serve those who need it most,” says Alexandre Lopez.

With these announcements, Team BDS is affirming its desire to go beyond traditional boundaries, enrich its mission beyond competition, and play an active role in society through concrete and lasting actions.
